Training Manager

Our client is a leading Hong Kong based financial services group listed on the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong, serving the needs of customers throughout Greater China and beyond, with the operation one of the largest branch networks in Hong Kong.  She is dedicated to providing comprehensive corporate banking, personal banking, wealth management, and investment services to its customers in Hong Kong, Mainland China, and other major markets around the world.  She is looking for a Professional Training Manager to join her Training & Development Department.

Responsibilities

  • To design, develop, coordinate and deliver training solutions on branch operations, financial services, branch operational risk management and control
  • To assess training needs and evaluate effectiveness of training solutions
  • To assist in managing the Bank’s trainee programmes and other training-related projects
  • To coordinate with external consultants on the design and delivery of language courses and other training solutions

Requirements

  • University graduate in Business, Economics, Finance or related discipline
  • Certified Banker or holder of equivalent professional qualification is preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years’ relevant training or banking experience
  • Experience in Commercial/Corporate Banking business is a definite advantage
  • Able to master new knowledge, concepts and ideas quickly and facilitate knowledge sharing
  • Good interpersonal, presentation, analytical, problem solving skills and able to work under pressure
  • Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese, fluent in Putonghua is preferable
