Risk & Compliance Manager – Risk Control

Our client is a leading Hong Kong based financial services group listed on The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong, serving the needs of customers throughout Greater China and beyond, with the operation one of the largest branch networks in Hong Kong.  She is dedicated to providing comprehensive corporate banking, personal banking, wealth management, and investment services to its customers in Hong Kong, Mainland China, and other major markets around the world.  She is looking for a Risk & Manager – Risk Control to join her Channel & Transaction Management Department

Responsibilities

  • To review and set up compliance assurance and risk control framework
  • To ensure proper control measures are in place to mitigate operational risk and other relevant risks associated with all channels
  • To handle all fraud related prevention, control and incident response in association with all channels
  • To prepare the reports for risk and compliance issues including non-compliance cases and operational risk incidents analysis, monitoring and reporting
  • To conduct reviews on non-compliance cases and operational risk incidents and recommend measures and controls to prevent recurrence
  • To provide advice to sections within department / other functional units / regulators / external parties in relation to channels’ risk and compliance issues

Requirements

  • University graduate with at least 3 years in managerial role with exposure in compliance, internal control, fraud risk management or audit
  • Good knowledge of regulatory requirements / codes / guidelines applicable to retail banking and merchant acquiring business
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • A good team player with initiative and the ability to work independently
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • PC literate with good knowledge of MS Office
  • Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese
